The Operator is accountable for the secure and efficient operation of the vehicle. They operate with powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines and loading docks, into railroad cars or trucks or storage facilities


As a forklift truck operator, your major activities would include:

  • Loading and unloading merchandise from vehicles such as trucks

  • Pull and prepare product for shipment as scheduled

  • Wraps order on pallet for shipment

  • Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods

  • Keep the work area clean and free from materials that may prove hazardous

  • Ensure proper stock rotation

  • Performing other warehouse tasks like packing
